I have been streamlining with tech since 1999, working with “computer workers”: desk workers getting computers for the first time. I helped them document their workflows so developers could build software that streamlined boring work and gave them time back. It was a glorious time for secretaries, executives, and every desk worker that embraced the streamlining with tech process.

In 2023 I started ghostwriting, offering brand strategy, and setting up AI systems for both. Same skill as 1999: asking a lot of questions and writing the answers into documents the client felt represented their voice and desired outcome. Except this time we launched blogs, books, brands, and AI content files that helped streamline revenue generating and cost saving operational activities.

In 2026, after enough ghostwriting and brand strategy potential clients said, “I can just have AI do it for me,” I had to re-evaluate my skills and my abilities to be of service. I was thrilled, and feel blessed, to realize that a job I loved almost 27 years ago is now coming “back in style.” Helping professionals like you articulate your workflows and outcomes in a way that AI can help you build. In addition to mastering AI skills, I am also in the process of earning my ICOR® Productivity Certification: organizing data so it works no matter which productivity tool, including AI, you lay on top of it.
